Well I want to make a level where it's night.OK I know how to light it,but can I make it darker.I know I can put fog and set the color to black,but is there another way to make the level darker.I mean the textures to be darker.

oh thats easy. you just have to edit the textures in your favorite image editing software. but not paint. like if you have gimp, you can adjust the brightness and contrast. i dunno specifically how to do it in gimp but you get the idea

hit the compile button. You will see the default list settings at the bottom of the dialog window, light section (must be checked).
Another tip: in the light section of the compile window you can set the light scale value.
