first of if you think we are behind we are not the .act format is one of the best we can have take .3ds .obj files all sorts of formats tga convert .acts to diferrent formats.

even if the rf engine fails the actor format wont because it not based on the engine.
its based on standard format. and can almost be converted to or from somthing over the
next couple of weeks i will show you.
we can go from ogre .mesh to .skeleton to .actor and visa versa and .3ds .nfo .bdy.
i think after years at looking at model formats that the .act format is one of the most verisitile formats.
so if rf2 does one day exsist we wil be ready if not then .act will have to go forward.
