Reality Factory

I want to ask about the weapon attatchment.I know that If I want to attatch a weapon to my player in 3-rd person view I'll have to make the weapon with the skeleton of the actor,but is there another way to do this?I was thinking of attatcing a bone of the player's actor to a player bone
