Are Vehicles Possible?

I got RF to create a game in which the character walks around, finds various vehicles, gets in, and drives them around. I have searched everywhere for this, but I still have no idea how to do it. Also, if vehicles are possible, is it possible to use airplanes, spaceships, etc.? Can anyone help me with this please? Thanks in advance.

Well, there's a mountable vehicle script in the samples folder in your scripts folder. It's called gen1car.sYou can use it if you wan to make a mountable car,but the car is't nearly realistic and you can drive it only on a straight road.If you drive it for example uphill or downhill,it'll broke :D.I don't think someone has made an airplane or a helicopter script also :( .I think that making games with flying vehicles is impossible yet.I read a topic about that some time ago and I read that even the player can't e made to fly.

I don't see any reason why vehicles wouldn't be possible. Although, it would be... well... challenging, to say the least. But we have the physics release and we can script the player to do almost anything, so why not. I'm afraid I can't give any more detailed info though. As I said it would be really complicated.

BTW, I think flying vehicles would be easier to make than cars since cars pretty much need proper physics to stay aligned with the ground (uphills, downhills). Flying things, on the other hand, don't need that. They can fly to any direction and basic collision detection would be enough, I believe.

WoW,I though that flying vehicles are impossible yet.A small mountable spacecraft would be great for a game like mine :D.
