Diablo III Videos

Check out this.It is the legenndary Diablo next sequel,only everybody think it will take a while untill its shipped.
Thats exactly the game i try to make-but with a more closer view -RF's 3rd person camera.
I think i will wait untill i get some design ideas from this game,and make a sample stage untill i post asking for members to help me.

Those damn particles-i wish i had nice presets like those in RF effects.ini.They look so 3D instead of the large flat sprites i have used to see get half-buried in the ground.

What you think of diablo iii atmosphere and sounds in general?

Thinghs about diablo II and World of Warcraft

Yesterday, when i was playing World of Warcraft, i noticed that it is like 'Diablo III Battlenet extra pay to play' - in the way that the game mechanics are almost the same in both titles. In Diablo 2 the bosses were cool and in WoW they are cool too. Nice background story/world in both cases too (the level design of WoW is just awesome!). Also the item systems in both titles are pretty good. Thinghs that both lack : Interesting quests (they are all the same somehow...), balanced classes and the skill system overall (There are no real combos and the skill system in WoW makes it impossible to play an hybrid like the paladin the way it was meant to be - as a hybrid - and still be effective. You have to specialize yourself to be a little bit worse than the core classes - in the case of the paladin the warrior and the priest, but in real dungeons you will be reduced to the role of the class you specialized yourself at. Because playing a hybrid as a hybrid only has bad outcomes and no good ones)

Hopefully they learned from those mistakes.... because otherwise the games are really good.

I cannot make much of the gameplay but it seems to be very action-oriented like diablo 1 and 2. The primary goal seems to be 'get down the enemies as fast as you can'. I would have liked a bit more tactic. Well i'll wait and see.

Since i am no programmer,i cant make classes tec,just some default type players but with different weapons and speed-which makes the diference.

I have nt palyed any of these wow or diablo yet,but the ideas i get is from the grafics.
Mainly to add detail to the world brushes,walls,etc.
And i like the brodges and diferent height platform-like rooms idea.
One of the things i like most is the big numkber of attacking monsters-thats why i try to make as many simplified LOD versions of the monsters as possible.

Also i like the dark background,i remember and of platform fantasy hit called "Black Tiger"
which i played in the 80's-90's.

What i dont like in blizzard is the cartoonish/toy design of the characters which makes them look less real.

I like cartoonish style,but i prefer in these cases to be completely cartoonish.

And i like to use more light in the world-even in an underworld city,
and use more color to the materials like-decayed,but colorfull marble,instead of adding color by using more explosions like in diablo
You know,marble has so many colors.


In a few words,i prefer the worlds more bright,more colorfull,without cartoonish -or exagerated large armour and weapons.
