I'm a huge fan of DotA (Defence of the Ancients) myself. So I'd like to know if there are any RF users who play it.

To those who don't know DotA: It's a custom map for Blizzard's Warcraft III. There are two teams of five players battling against each other. Each player controls a hero unit. There are 90 unique heroes to choose from. The idea is basically to get experience and money by killing enemy heroes and NPC units, buy items and get skills and spells and finally destroy the other team's base. What makes it interesting is the fact that you can't win alone. You have 4 teammates on your side and you have to coordinate with them to win the game. I've seen it dozens, if not hundreds of times that one team is dominating the game but lack teamwork while the other team has weaker heroes and items but they play together. Then a major 5v5 clash occurs... Usually the "weaker" team wipes the other team out with little to no casualties. And that's what I love about it.

I just love the concept of the game. It's pretty unique.

It is really cool.

The learning curve is a bit steep though. Basically you have to learn all the heroes' skills and spells before you can think of a counter strategy for them. The fact that there's 90 unique heroes doesn't really help newbies. Also, most of the people playing online aren't really the most helpful guys, usually the newcomers just get flamed for not knowing the game. But once you get the hang of it it's an extremely fun game.
