Really nice sky! Where did you get it from?

I'm glad you got the muzzle flash working.
Pain is only psychological.
Re: New Screen
Is this an illegal filename? "Isle of Merlin.bsp"? RF just wants to call it Isle, and crashes when I set it as the default level, yet I can preview it through rfeditpro.

Maybe the empty spaces mess it up. I've always replaced spaces with the _ symbol. Is this an illegal filename? "Isle of Merlin.bsp"? RF just wants to call it Isle, and crashes when I set it as the default level, yet I can preview it through rfeditpro.

Re: New Screen
That got it. Thanks, Juutis.
I have one more small question. Do you have any idea why my character would always start out in the crouch position? I'm just using the plain old Virgil character.

Re: New Screen
Looks great, although I'd change the castle's brick texture
Re: New Screen
There's something that bothers me in those pictures. I thought about it long and couldn't tell exactly what it was. But now I realized: The lighting. I think you should tone the default lighting level down a bit and add some lights instead. Maybe a SunLight too. I'd also use distance fog to get some depth. Just try to get the fog to match the color of the sky.

Re: New Screen
Doh! Totally forgot to put a sun in. That's usually the first thing a do after putting in a skybox. Thanks for the reminder, Juutis.

I do not like distance fog. It never really looks good to me. I've had it on and off several times in this level attempting to tweak it, and no amount of tweaking has made it look right.
Thanks, Danimita. The brick texture will probably stay, as my son and I made it together and he said it was just how he wanted it.

Thanks. I went back and diddled with the distance fog, and have it looking not too bad. I need to move it in a little bit, but it does create atmospheric perspective pretty good if done right! Thanks, Juutis.
