I knew that would happen...
I downloaded RealityFactory 0.76 and put all my work from my realityfactory 0.75a folder to the 0.76 version,ok but now when I compiled one of the levels I was working on the player starts flying till it reaches the ceiling and stays there like there's a bug with the gravity.I made a new level (a basic room with player setup, start and env setup),compiled it and there was no such problem...why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Re: I knew that wuold happen...(need urgent help for this)
You must reenter the value for the gravity in EnvironmentSetup. Since 076 RF uses a vector (X,Y,Z) for its gravity.
Everyone can see the difficult, but only the wise can see the simple.

thanks,Jay I'll try to make it work, but why 0.76 uses vector gravity?
Re: I knew that wuold happen...
Because of me. I thought it would be a nice addition, like, you could change the gravity of all objects, or reverse gravity, or make gravity go to the side.... Well i haven't really found a use for it, but it was so easy to implement that QoD just took it from the first community release and implemented it in RF076 too. (It's just two or three lines of code that have to be changed, plus the new script commands)

I don't see it in the online docs. What would the setting be?

Well, yeah that adition can be used for example in a level with very strong wind or something...or in a level where you are in a huge pipe and there is a fan which blows the player

Re: I knew that would happen...
really sorry for the double post, but in that version the moving platforms should be fixed so the player doesn't fall through them when going upwards, right?Because my player keeps falling through through them...
Re: I knew that would happen...
A setting might be (0,-6,0) for normal gravity that goes donwards, or (2,-6,0) for the 'long pipe level'...
About the moving platforms, i have no idea... (i personally don't use moving plattforms, i use staricases and such, much more fitting for rpg-fantasy games)

Well,my game is in the near future and in the first level you are on a spaceship, which is attacked by aliens and you have to get to the control room fast to meet your commander and than...let's not tell you the story it's gonna be much more interesting to play it.Well the problem is that I got a place, which I planned to make a lot of elevators in.But if the player falls through moving platform that go upwards...I won't be able to do it,because I want the elevators to move very fast.
Re: I knew that would happen...
sorry to go offtopic, a use for ur gravity function, watch a filem called "cube 2 hypercube" that will defenetl be an awsome game concept, shame its a film, but may give ideas to people.

Oh My God,didn't know that, thanks a lot,Destron...Now I'll have to think of a new pistol model damn...Really,thanks,I was about to release a demo of my game includeing the pistol
Re: I knew that would happen...
Yeah, that's the problem with downloading models from the internet. You can never be sure where they are taken from and who has modeled them. My advice is to model everything yourself. That way you are making your game instead of a mashup of random resources. I personally hate playing a game and realizing 'I've seen this gun before...'
Pain is only psychological.

Re: I knew that would happen...
You are absolutely right! The problem is,that I suck at modeling and animating yet,and I haven't enough time to play with modeling programs yet,at this time,I merge some of my models in my game, for example I download several weapon models and merge them, creating one weapon.Sometimes the result is pretty cool. This pistol I got from a game made in entidad,I hadn't have seen it before in another game, but I really don't play a lot of games on my computer,so..here's the result, thank god it was Destron, because I could get in trouble for that.I'll make my pistol model by merging too
