I've heard of Python before, and have it installed on my computer, but I was wondering what it really was.
It's a scripting language, but what can it do? Can it create applets like Java? Or is it just good as a scripting language for small programs or game design tools??

okay i read a book on python but i am extremely rusty, if i remember right it is good for quick scripting and not as good for huge programs like an OS.

Python is a scripting language. It will be the scripting language used for RF2. There are plenty of tutorials on the net. Just Google "Python Tutorials".
