When I try to open RF edit Pro it says,
GEditPro checks for the default *.txl file when opening new worlds.
GEditPro is now looking for...
C:\Program Files\media\levels\default.txl
but cannot find it.
Then it goes on to say it will crash if it does not find one. Is there something else I need to download?
Thank you for your time and help.

Re: Problem opening RF edit Pro
ok your problem is that it is searching not in the rf folder just program files. if you tell it to look in C:\Program Files\Reality Factory\media\levels for default or whatever your texture file is in prefrences then you will be fine the same with actors and the other box

Re: Problem opening RF edit Pro
I made a mistake. I had the same problem when opening RF Edit Pro, but I made the follish mistake of just creating a blank file called default.txl in the Program Files/media/levels dir , and now it just flashes the logo and crashes without an error message or anything. Reinstalling didn't help. What should I do? Should I just copy the default.txl from the correct folder over the blank one?
Re: Problem opening RF edit Pro
Remove RF before reinstalling it. When you remove it...all the files will be removed with it. Then reinstall it.

Re: Problem opening RF edit Pro
Hi there, I am having the same problem.
I installed RFEditPro and everything is set up fine, except I can't find the default.txl file
I searched my computer and it wasn't in any folder, or anywhere when I extracted the files using WinZip.[
Also, I have no idea how to create a world.....
Please help

Re: Problem opening RF edit Pro
Do you have installed the complete Reality Factory toolset or just the RFEdit Pro?
