Mini Multiplayer Online Game

Post by QuestOfDreams »

As you may have noticed I haven't been around much in the last few weeks... however I was not lazy but produced this little 3rd person shooter for a project at university.
If you like to try it out you can download it at

well, the models are from http://www.planetquake.com/polycount/ and the level is from the quake 3 arena demo, so I can't really take the credits for the visuals just for the programming

What's the trick to DL'ing with Getright? Why
do they make it so difficult? I can DL this link
with Mozilla but it invariably cutsoff before it
finishes, I put
http://www.ihud.com/files/1128626298/ReFactor3d.zip

in getright but it doesn't work.

the default port number should work fine (valid port numbers range from 1024 to ~65000, however many of them are used by other programs)
just make sure all clients are using the same port number as the server; when joining the game as a client you also have to fill in the IP address of the pc hosting the game (the server), if it can't connect to this pc the program will close
