Can rf be used for other types of games instead of just fps ?

Pretty much anything is possible with RF. I've seen just about everything done with it. All it takes is time and patience and anything is possible.

Eh another question and sorry for the double post. Um im not that good in creating maps here with rf or i dont even know where to do them in rf , but are we able to make maps in other programs and add them to rf?

You can make levels in rfeditpro I believe which is in the tools section of your rf install. That's the editor most used but you can use a few other bsp editors for your levels. I believe if you download the making games with realityfactory book from the front page it has a section on designing levels that really helped me when I was making levels. :D

Ahh kk thankx i would take a look at that book ^^. But imma ask again i didnt really get it but it is possible to make maps like the area using other programs right ?

Thing is i dont want to make an FPS , i wanna make like an advanture game and stuff like that. I know it will a bit pf patience and all , but im more concerned about the map/ the area

Do you mean like creating a more detailed scene in a 3d modelling program and then displaying that? Like making your level in milkshape or max then using that for your level? If not please give an example of what you mean.

An adventure style game is totally possible. Infact I think someone was working on one a while back or at least it looked kind of like an adventure.

Others can correct me if i'm wrong but most of that was done in an outside editor and brought in using rfeditpro and bringing in a static mesh via an entity.
