OK,so I got this AWESOME free weapon model pack from the net,but..the models there are in .mdl format.I tried to open the weapons with milkshape (serious sam mdl,game studio mdl),but...milkshape crashes or doesn't import anything...from the moment I saw the weapons I started to need them for my game

I also searched the forums,but I couldn't find how to open and MDL (sorry if the answer is in the forums)

Also,does the mdl extention contain the model's textures inside,because if not I don't have the weapons textures

Well you obvoiously didn't try very hard, they open perfectly well in milkshape. But you must have seen this on the site before you downloaded

That means some of them are copyrighted and they won't take the blame. If you dont know which ones are copyright then you can't use any of them.

I know that some of theese are copies from games,but it says that they won't be suitable for commersial games,and I'm not thinking of putting all the weapons in my game too,I think I know which weapons I've seen in game before.

Well,I couldn't open none of them in milkshape,what option should I choose from the import menu?

Well,no luck..I tried to import all of the models using th Game Studio import function,but nothing...it just starts loading and that's all...than I have to press ctrl+alt+del to exit MS.I tried to import the models using the game studio A5 import option,but it gives me a message,saying:Invalid File Header!

Haw did yo import them in Milkshape??

I'm not saying you're lying,I belive you,it just doesn't work in my case..man,that's pretty bad.
What import option did you use?

Look at the import options in milkshape and this time look more carefully.

well,I don't see..
I found only Serious Sam Mdl and the game studio Mdl...
I looked for half life mdl or something,but no...the only mdl I have is serious sam mdl and game studio mdl
hmm..maybe there's something wrong with my version of MS,but it shouldn't be wrong,or maybe I'm missing a plugin..

How many Game Studio imports do you see?

I see two:
Game Studio A5
And Game Studio MDl7

and both don't work..

I tried importing using Milkshape version 1.8.2 and it didn't import the models. Maybe you need Game Studio installed or the latest version of Milkshape?

The GameStudio MdL7 does work. You need to reinstall Milkshape v1.8.4

I reinstalled it and it DOES work,thanks bernie!
