I'm with Milkshape 1.8.4 and I got a problem (a big one). The last time bernie told me to reinstall it and that fixet the problem, but this time it's just unfixable.I can't open MDL files in Milkshape, when I try to open an MDL file,Milksape says that it's invalid or something...
I really need to open theese MDL file.

OK,I've tried installing several versions of milkshape in several places on my PC,no effect. It just says "Invalid File Header. Supported Are "MDL3","MDL5 ","MDL7".
Did not find any converter on the internet for that...no plugins either...

I wrote to bernie and he couldn't help me also.

PLEASE,if someone knows what's that and how to fix it,help me,because I need theese models, and I want to release the game's demo next week, but without them,it's getting hard, because they were just the models I've been looking for.

2 cool female models:

An AWESOME sci - fi weapon model (a little high poly, but it's no a problem for me :) )
http://www.fpsbanana.com/mirrors/startd ... 00&ext=zip <--- in the archive there's an install file, install it somewhere,it's not a software,it's the model I think it's made to be installed so that way it will beeasier for people, who want to mod their games.

MH you really MUST learn how to use milkshape.
Those actors decompile easily go to Tools-> Half Life -> Decompile Normal HL MDL file and decompile the mdl file then import smd file body.smd and head3.smd into milkshape.
You are trying to run before you can walk.
You should learn to use the tools before you start trying to make a game.
Also check out the copyright on those models I doubt if you can use them legally.

@MH I am sorry and feel I must apologise for my outburst in the previous post, but...I am extemely busy at the moment, and I put myself out to help you, only to find its simple basic use of milkshape.

Thanks a milion,Fridy!!! Oh,man I'm so gratefull,no matter that the gun is not converted,I'm thinking of buying more weapon models anyway :D .Just I'm not sure if it's mine mistake, but I couldn't find the second female model's mesh (the lady with the shorter blond hair). Can you upload it also if it's not too much pain in the ass.

No need to apologise, bernie I absolutely understand that you are busy, equity is a great program that is getting better and better,I underestimated the power of Equity, just because I didn't actually know what's it for,but it has helped me for so many things and has speeded up my game developement in times.I still can't fix the problem with Milkshape,so maybe it's something else that it's not in milkshape,I just can't explain to myself Ihow I fixed it the last time.
