What's the deal?

Post by Kaven »

I was following the first game tutorial, using RFEditPro, and was doing great until it said hit Templates, go to Entities, and select playersetup. The problem? I don't have playersetup or playerstart under my entities. I have light, modelorigin, spotlight, and sunlight. I searched for the problem and saw another guy had the same thing, but he never said what fixed it. So, what am I doing wrong?

Also, whenever I try to start the RFEditpro, it says it can't find the default.txl or whatever, so I have to go into computer, program files, reality factory, media, levels, and default .txl. Could this be the problem? How can I fix this?

Yes that is your problem. You need to set up your Level Options. To do this go to Project -> level options and set up the paths correctly for Header directories, Texture Library, Pawn.ini and Actors directory.
