Problems with auto-login

I've been having problems with the auto-login feature of this forum lately. It started 1-2 weeks ago, I don't remember exactly when. At first I couldn't log in at all: I could type my username and password and I got the "You have been logged in successfully" message but right after that it kicked me out. Then I cleared my cookies and I could log in, but now I have to do it manually every time. And being a frequent user it bothers me. I'm used to hitting "the RF forum" in my favorites and immediately seeing if someone has posted something new, but now I have to click at least two more times.
I've tried with Firefox and IE. Neither is working. I've also tried clearing all the private data in Firefox but it just won't work.
So I'd like to know if anyone has experienced similar problems or if someone has ideas how to fix it.

Yes Iv'e been having that same problems for the last few weeks & did the same thing cleared out cookies and it made things even worse sometimes having to log in 3 or 4 times before I could post (on one ocasion it was 7 times). I pm'd QOD about it and he altered the way cookies were sent last weekend. Login is better now but I still have to log in manually each time I vist the forum. Like you I also tried Firefox and it is just the same. I was going to pm QOD again this weekend if it didn't improve but he will see this thread now when he comes on.

Well, the only thing I can do is to set the cookies back to the old setting. I don't understand why all you guys have problems ... for me the board works fine ...

Which address do you use to access the forum?
http://forum.realityfactory.info/
or
http://realityfactory.info/forum
Anyways, deleting the cookies should fix the problem ...

I don't think I can configure the board cookies to work flawlessly with both urls and I'd prefer to stay with
http://forum.realityfactory.info/
@bernie
Are you using different browsers on pc and laptop?

@QOD Ie 6 on pc running win2k. I think it's ie 7 on laptop very new running vista. I discovered last night that the cookies set by this board are in a defferent place to cookies set by other websites and are not found or cleared with the tool in internet explorer. I cleared it manually and i can now login and post on my main pc. However It did throw me out once this morning and I had to login again to post but it is much better now using
