Where to go to make web site

I was planning on making a website and would like advice/opinons on the better or best ones to use for hosting. thanks.
this will be mainly for showing the progress of my game dev-concept art and some models. eventually i would like to be able to upload a demo and then a complete game so i guess i will the most free space as possible.

Well I got my account with 125mb.com and I think they're pretty nice.
They give you 125mb of free web space and although they put adds on your page at least they are not pop-up adds.

I like freewebs,
http://www.freewebs.com , they have a very small ad to place on your page, but they only offer at last count about 50 megs.
i think one of those sites like fileplanet or filefront or something offer unlimited space for game stuff...

the 125mb.com looks good. The other i think is not as good. aside from the amount of bandwidth and storage you can have they charge you if you use more bnadwidth than alotted. which means that since you cant control who goes to your site your beat unless you have them place more ads.
filefront does offer file hosting so if i make a site that will have to be where my demo goes. thanks the info.

The trouble with freewebs if that they have a file limit of fifty files for a free user. You may be well under the 50mb storgae limit, but be at the 50 file limit. I like them, since they only have you put up a text link to them, but that is a problem.

- no ads

- he is a recomended site as well
But hey its totally your choice.
O and i forgot to mention it has a 99% uptime
