Reality Factory

im new to reality factory i was wondering could some 1 plz make a tutorial showing how i can put my own models in the game i try following tutorial on it did everything the way it told me but nothing happens if some1 could plz help that would be great .

Models are inserted via the Static Entity Proxy or Static Mesh entities, to do that, you need to convert your models to .act format which could be done either with Equity or the Astudio, included with the tools

thanks for reply friend i did all off that used milkshape 2 export my model 2 act file and i try everything 2 get it into the rf but every time nothing happens is there anywere i can get a video tutorial showing how its done

Ok, so you've got your model in the .act format? Can you see the model with the ActView tool (in the 'tools' folder)? In which folder is the actor (.act file)? It should be in media/actors. How exactly are you trying to add the model to the level? What entity are you using and what values have you set in the entity properties?

yes i can see my model in the actview and have it in media\actors i tryed useing a static entity proxy and a static mesh the tutorial i was following didnt say anything about the values 2 set the entity properies thanks for reply

Alright, when you add the entity in the level editor and select it you should see an 'Entity Attributes' list on the right. Find a field called szActorFile and enter the name of your actor file there. Don't forget the .act extension. Then compile the level and the model should be there.

yeah i did all that still no model in my game ?
