Shaders

How will RF2 work with shaders? Will we be able to define our own with the scripting language, or just use pre-made ones? Will it come with bloom etc.?

Shaders are done through the Ogre Material System.

Bloom is a post screen shader. Ogre calls these compositors. I will be packaging a number of default compositors with RF2 (the ones from the Ogre Compositor demo).

Compositors are now working. You can download pre-alpha binaries from Sourceforge.
