Is Reality Factory just a computer game or is there a way to make it into a disc and play it on a console? I was wondering if there was a way to play it on a Playstation or is that a very difficult thing to do. Do you need to get a special program? I also wanted to ask if you could hook up a Playstation 3 controller and use it instead of the keyboard. Please answer.

For you first question no Reality Factory isn't a game it is a game engine and you cannot play it on console. for your second question there is a way to link a PS3 controller to your PC if you search YouTube you can find videos to do it but I don't know if it would work with reality factory.

To answer your question...RF is a game that can be modified to create your own game. It cannot be played on a Playstation as that requires a very expensive development kit and compiler tools (Approximately $50,000 USD).

RF is currently only compatible with a Windows PC. You can use a joystick as long as that joystick is DirectInput compatible.

The developer kit for the Playstation 3 is a little over $10,000. They had to really cut back the price because they needed to sell more games. You probably need a lot more than $10,000 though for other things besides the kit.
