My work in progress game could use some comments popularity, lets start with this:

http://aoforum.blogspot.com/ (html embeded forums)
I'll post a tutorial on the forums soon but its a free MMORPG game created with the XtremeWorlds software and its 100% no item malls, no memberships free! I just do it for fun, it really is stressful sometimes.
Anyways thats all for now, and as for the forums tutorial just look it up on the XtremeWorlds forums:

Re: [WIP]Alderania Online (2D MMORPG game announcement)
Games like World of Warcraft, RuneScape and have an excess of players that makes newcomers feel they boarded the boat too late. Why start a game of 5 or 6 years after the game was developed and has all these crazy armor and swords that can pick up great armies of thousands. On the other hand, small puzzle pirates mmorpg like the advantage of having small groups of users. Yes, do not make much money, but the prospect of new players, the lands that were unbeaten, a chance to be great in the others to go out!

Re: [WIP]Alderania Online (2D MMORPG game announcement)
First of all, I've changed the name and concept of my MMORPG game. Therefore Alderania Online is pretty much dead.
Second of all, I'm 13, I don't care about making money off of my games right now, just getting them popular. (to a degree)
Third, I don't want to make a little arcade game like bubble shooter, which isn't even an MMORPG game. It's just an arcade style game with a high score system.
Fourth, people who play MMORPGs play the games and level up to the max level, than people leave and new people come. This way MMO games survive longer. They expand as well. When I make MMO games I don't expand with crazy items and stuff people have to pay for. I expand by creating new areas and a higher level cap. Tougher monsters and more powerful equipment to defeat them with. More quests to take and pretty much more game to play. I might add a new feature here and there like mounts or something else I havn't implemented in the game.
And when it comes to 'Boarding the Boat too Late', I really don't understand what you mean. It doesn't matter when you start the game, because the people who have crazy abilities will be up in the stronger areas with tougher enemies. People who are new to the game will be in the noob areas hanging around tutorial island and completeing quests that seem like elementary to the pros. Therefore the noobs and the pros don't PvP each other and don't travel in the same dungeons or trade equipment. People play with people of their level.
Anyways I posted this:
Anyways that's my thoughs, I've never even seen you around here so chances are you're new. If not than your returning but usually you'd have an avatar image and all that.
