Reality Factory

hello all i'm new to the forum and also new to rf i have a question is it possible to open an outside program (such as a web browser) from within reality factory i have experimented but my skills leave a lot to be desired with programming of any kind. i have done a search, even page by page but have found nothing on the subject. i ask this because i am interested in making a "sort of game" frontend for the computer in my game room. thank you for your time and your help is appreciated
