Has this ever worked?

No matter what I set FSAntiAliasing to in the d3d24.ini I can't see any noticable change. The only way I can smooth out pixel lines is by forcing my graphics card to do 4x FSAA, despite what the running program (i.e. RF) may want to do.

But it seems RF should be able to do this itself. Obviously, my card is capable of handling it. So what needs to be done to get RF to talk to my graphics card and tell it to smooth out those nasty 'jaggies'?

i haven't noticed any graphical difference, but with it turned OFF your framerate goes up drastically.

It doesn't seem to work right now... I would leave this off... under dx7 api you have some very strict guidelines to make this work and the rendering pipeline would probably have to change to get it to work... Quest is working on a new dx9 driver and it will most likely have to be addressed then...
