You should be so lucky Steven, by demo "Talisman" was wiped years ago from gamefront without any explanation at all from them. In fact all my files were removed without a by your leave or anything.

I played Talisman. I really liked it!! Did you every ask them why?

No, I never bothered. I think they had been taken down several months before I noticed. They did major upgrades to their systems A couple of years ago and I think they dissapeared during that time.

Crap. Windows 7 is not friendly with my old demo. First, I had to set the installer on XP Service Pack 2, Administrator mode just to get it on the computer, then the demo ran once and will not run again. It shuts down saying the program has an error and windows is trying to fix it. Oh well, I got to play it one more time for old time's sake!

Got it to go again. Not sure why it worked the first time, because I had to make the same changes to the exe that I did with the installer. Oh well, it's fun to be whacking skeletons again!!

Hi Steven, I was about to make that suggestion but you found it youself. I am running Windows 8 on one of my Pc's (I upgraded from Xp and had that problem with a lot of programs).
I must download your demo again and give it a thrash or two. It was good fun whacking those skeletons.

I downloaded your demo and ran it. It works fine. One problem though I killed all the skeletons collected all the collectables and had 100 health points but when I try to use the moument it keeps saying "Maybe they aren't all dead yet" but I can't find any more enemies to kill. I seem to remeber there was an underground laberynth but i can't get into it.

Doh -- thats it. I found it the first time round just forgot what I had done before. My short term memory is starting to fade it's only a couple of years since I played it. Age takes it's toll on the mind as well as the body.
