Problems running Demos/Full games

Well, when I download an installer for a demo game, I install it, and when I click the exe, the Genesis 3d logo comes on like half way- the only part of it that animates is the electricity, as apposed to the gears turning and stuff. Anyway, it just kind of freezez like that, with the logo half moving, and doesnt move on. I cant even quit the program- I have to turn on the computer manually to escape it.
Help?

Its pretty much all of the demos. I tried all of them, and they dont work. The tech demo and levels I compile myself work just fine, but the ones I download from Terry Morgans site dont work for me.

Read the Faq
http://terrymorgan.net/rffaq.zip, if you get the
'some entities did not load properly, see console'
error.

I dont get any error messages. The program doesnt crash or anything, but it just kind of freezes in the title/logo screens.
