Camera problems when creating levels with rfeditpro

Hello,

I just started my first attempt at creating my own levels with rfeditpro and encountered first problems. When I put my actor (virgil.act) in upright position (-90, 180, 0) and set levelview 0 (first person) camera starts to a rapidly and randomly change the point of view. I had less problems with the second person pov, although the engine crashed ocassionally during previews, mostly when receeding camera encountered the wall. Isometric view posed least problems, though it also tended to crash from time to time. Only once I made the level work right, but then the editor crashed before I had chance to save the settings. When I tried to compile and preview the sample scene (basic.map), I had exacltly same problems.

Anyone knows the solution?

That's a bug in RF an will be fixed in the next release (coming sometime next week).

also, to fix it temporarily, hit F1 when it flickers.

Thanks... I fixed problem with engine crashes by setting DoNotWait in the d3d24.ini to 0 - but I'm afraid it lowers the rendering quality - or is it just my impression? Thanks anyway!
