I just noticed when using either a sphere or cylinder brushes, they dont properly map the textures
I wonder if that can be fixed in the next release?

What do you mean by "they don't properly map the textures"? Can you describe the problem in more detail please.

sticking a texture on cyllindrical or spherical block and rotating the whole texture can some times not work correctly. but it's not broken it's just the way it is
also remember cylinders and spheres have multiple faces so you need to fool around with the face properties dialog box to align them the way you want. you need to edit them individually untill things line up properly

to explain whats happening, ill use milkshape to describe whats happening...
this how a brush should be mapped by default after creating a new sphere brush:

and this is what RF is currently doing to created created brushes:

in the second image RF is dividing the newly created sphere brush into 3 parts, top, bottom, and middle.

Well, I see... but as Spyrewolf already said, this is not a bug but just the way the RF editor is generating the texture coordinates... this is always a matter of personal preference...

I agree, it would make a more cohesive sphere graphic and much faster to create the graphic/texture itself.
