Reality Factory

Or not running, to be exact. Every time I try to run the main RF exe, I get a black strip in the middle of my screen that is about half my screen width, and then it disappears... err... in portions, like it's falling. First the topmost part, then the one under it, etc.

Also, when I try to run any 3D-using tool (except the level editor, I think) it shows an invalid page fault. I'll give you the error data next time it happens.

the first problem occurs because of an error with the shortcuts created by the rf installer; either run realityfactory.exe from the folder it actually resides in within windows, or right-click on the shortcut you are using, click properties, and type "c:\realityfactory" (or wherever you installed rf) without quotes in the start in box.

for the second, what's your video card, and have you tried updating it's drivers?
