I have decided to make a 2D version of my game for now, until I can get a better computer and until a newer version of RF comes out. Anyway, here are some early screenshots:

And a third...that's it for now...

I'm using RPG Toolkit for it. You can read about it at toolkitzone.com

Thanks guys...but this game was not made with RF...I'm using a different program for the 2D "poor man's" version of the game, which is for people with lower-end systems and slower computers. But I'm also making a 3D version (my original intent) with RF once I have this one well underway. I'm using a lot of the same resources for both of them...

I would have a demo out by now, but I need to fix some errors with the real-time battle system (Zelda-style, except with modern weapons!) and make more boards to play on. (these are just test boards that came with the program, the biker dude is the only thing here that's mine right now, that'll change soon)

Right now, I'm working on the characters and vehicles...weapons and objects will come later...

Hopefully I can get it copyrighted and make a demo so I can release it on June 6, 2006.

June 6 why not the 4th?

Back when i first got started in game dev rpgtoolkit was one of the first places i looked but i didnt care for their commercial gamedev kit.

Looks nice are the characters (cant remember what they are called char sets or something-thinking of rpg maker) homemade or included with the kit?

6-6-06...it's also the day that a movie called "The Beast" is released, and I hope to watch it that day. If the world doesn't end...

Anyway, the evil biker dude is the main character I made, and the other stuff is included in the toolkit.

Sorry I haven't been able to do much. I've had to work serious overtime, and have had issues with my crappy PC and the battle system of the game. :(

I suggest for you to use player worlds(http://www.playerworlds.org), that way you can easly create a MMORPG. I'm currently doing my scool project with RF( I'm making my virtual school, so next year I would get ten for my informatics), but also I'm creating a MMORPG with this program, and there's a demo coming soon. Only thing is that I'm releasing it in Lithuanian, not english so you won't understand it

Does this playerworlds thing have a real-time Zelda type battle system and destructable objects? Or is it one of those lame turn-based things I hate so much?

100% not turn based, but it's real time battle system. It's really easy to make objects, guilds, items, characters, npc, quests there, but you'll have to work hard to make graphics nicer there. Also it's possible to change whole program your way(like RF I suppose). But as always it'll take HARD work if you want to make it good. Here are some examples of games made with PlayerWorlds http://www.endless-online.com , http://onrpg.com/gate.html?name=Downloa ... oad&cid=11
