Hi, recently I've began workin' with RF.
My intention is to do an adventure game mixin' adventure and action based in HP Lovecraft's Mithos. Diferent levels based in Insmouth... but I've got a little problem...
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO IT!!!!! ;)

I mean, that after lookin editors, and "gamemaker's" I've finally decided to work with RF.

I tooke the tutorial in the web about makin' a simple room...
But after that... i don't know how or with what continue...
with scripting? with the ini files? How can I associate weapon's to player, How to configure them...

In other words... there is another tutorial about how to continue... configuring the entities, textures, liquids, windows...

I've tried searching in google, but i don't find nothing than convinced me .

I' ll be so glad if some one can help me.

Thanks for your attention, and excuse me for my bad english knowledge.

Att.

You should try downloadinging Dan Valeo's "Making 3D Games with Reality Factory" -book from http://www.realityfactory.info/cms/inde ... umentation. It's pretty old and doesn't have information about the new features but it's a good guide to start with :) . It will pretty much teach you the basics of RF.

Reading through the RF docs should help too. When I started with RF, I just played around with different features and tested all sorts of things. So I suggest that you familiarize yourself with RF before starting to make something big.

2 of the tutorials on there are about level editing, using entities and such.

The health bar one has an example of modifying an ini file.
