Rocket launcher help

has 520 polys not sure how to connect the scope to the launcher and where should i place a laser pointer? thanks.

The scope would come of at the side and the actual barrel of the launcher would rest on the users shoulder.

The lazer would be positioned either above or below, depending on the size of it.

thanks for the pic all the ones i found didnt give a close view of the right side with the grips and the scope attachment.

Thats not a rocket launcher, thats a missle launcher. A stinger surface to air missle launcher to be specific. Still cool though.

only 600 polys and it looks pretty good i thinks.
Only need to design a laser targeter and attach the
scope and im good.

also ive almost got the hang of making decent skins
so it should turn out acceptable.

input would be appreciated on how the laser targeter
should look or where to put it would be nice. i thought
about just having it on the scope or maybe attaching it
to the firing tube.

I would attach the lazer pointer to the bottom of the firing tube or attach it as a seperate small tube on the bottom of the scope.



I guess from the front it would look a bit like this.




barrel ----> (Q)8 <---- scope and lazer
grip -------> ||

sounds good ill try and make one for sometime today if possible and post the new look. hopefully i can have it all finished by next week and make a usuable one for the community. but that might not be for a while.

added the laser pointer though it will most likely be a place holder until i find something that looks better. just for those wondering this rl is being designed like the one from Killzone. It is based on the SMAW with minor changes. The current poly count is 770 though like i said for a final version i may remake one with less.

another question in the last pic above this one does anyone think the part directly above the trigger is too boxy? maybe i should make it narrower towards the front?
