Please help me, my zombies are very cool but they lack the ability too bleed! So if you would be so kind as to tell me how to make gore are coagulated spinal fluid squirt for the undead i would be very appreciative!



:cry: Can any one help me i would like to make the zombies in my game bleed when you shoot them but i dont know how i dont even know if it is possible in RF so if any one knows please tell!

Even if there is a way to make a bitmap shoot out of enemys creating the illusion of blood!

welcome to the forums! :D

first off, this belongs in scripting. moving now...

second, ive never done it, so i cant help as much as you might like, but you might check out the demo "Cell Division" by pickles. it has gobs and gobs of alien gore, splashing on the screen even.

EDIT: sorry about that, federico posted at the same time i moved it and the forum got confused and merely copied the thread. fixing it up now...

In the Forged in Fire demo by Pickles there was a blood effect. Download the demo in the RF resource site then look at at the pawn script. using the FireProjectile command and a bitmap decal associated with the projectile defined in weapon.ini. The pawn, while he is "in pain", fires in a random direction downward. I used something similar in my old RealityRacer demo to leave tyre signs on floor. You can add a spout effect to simulate the falling of the blood.
