What is the best way to capture screen video while running your game. I want to capture some in game video for my demo reel but i'm having hard time capturing it while retaining a decent quality. I've tried snagit as well as a couple other video capture programs. I've viewed ingame video of other peoples work, so i know it's possible.
If anyone knows any good codecs ofr capturing game video let me know. I got the best image quality using fullframe uncompressed but the framerate was pitiful.
I appreciate any hints or tips
Cheers
Joel
PS I started my online portfolio, currently a work in progress. It has a couple of animations from my first year in school. I would like to include my game design reel if i could only capture some good in game video.
