Working on my first project for RF
(after all this time)

I need some models from WW2.

I need two of the alpine korps one in their normal dress(grays)
and one in their all whites (all in low polys),

can anyone help.

How low poly do you mean? And do these models need to look professional-like?

I might be able to help but I'm not yet very skilled in modeling. I like it very much though. :D

I need Two set of each.

One for game pawns (say the same poly count as Half life)

And one high To be used as in an avi cutscene movie.

the moive part seems to be going ease er than the game side.

I won't say any more about what I'm doing. But if it works (I hope ir does)
I might do more along the same theme. 8)

Any ideas how many polys Half Life models have?

I could make these models. It's just that I'm not good in making realistic looking characters, I'm using comic/cartoon-like models in my own little project but I could give your thing a shot too.

A shot from my recent work:

Sorry to go offtopic, but nice model!

I think character models in half-life 1 are about 750 polys. I could be far off.

Not far off Andy, is around 800 polys

Ok, I could start working on these models right away... if I only knew what these alpine corps look like. :) I can't find any good pictures with Google image search.

Ok thanks, I'll give it a shot. :)
Anyway if the models suck too much for you I can always use them in my own game

Cant wate to see what you can do Juutis But, read on and you will see.

Andy I think its time to move this over to "Game Designs" as thats the way this topic is going.

now down to the basics,

The way my kids want the game to be is like,

a: the 30 second bunny moives,
b: the lego type movies,
c: somthing fun.

So what I want to do is make short or parts of big moives,
Make the actors out of ? fruit, teddy bears, parts of cars, dog poo or somthing stupid and funny, maybe someone will have a better idea.

So the first one I'm trying to do is "Where Eagles Dare" as it was made the year I was born, and Im reading the book for the umpteam time.

any one got any feed back.

Just to make this clear... Does this concerne me? Do I make dog-poo-alpine-corp-soldier models or just as normal looking as I can? :D

And another thing: What file format do you prefer? I'm using MilkShape3D for modeling.

Go normal for the moment, thats if you don't have any idea what might be funny, and can you make them both act and milkshape files.

I still think the dog poo would be funny, you could have flys and pices of toilet paper about the place
