What you could also do, is that there's someone repeatedly trying to walk through a wall, and when you talk to him, you get this dialogue:
YOU: "What are you doing?"
HE: "I'm having some pathfinding problems, that's all. Nothing to worry about."
xD

Soon I'll put traffic lights and people, who will be patroling the city (I'll use a script with patrol order for them). They'll be non-hostile to everything.I had a little funny idea about a type of person in the city, but I have no Idea how to script it,so maybe it'll stay only as an idea.
My idea is to make a person, who is not walking but standing and hanging on a wall of a building, and when you point with the crosshair on him,he starts running (randomy on left, right etc.) saying "Sh*t,Sh*t,Sh*t!" or maybe "OMG,don't kill me HEELP",and when you move the crosshair away from him,he stops and returns to the wall
. It's just an idea really,I can't imagine how something like this can be scripted.
i know almost nothing about simkin but i am guessing that would be extremely hard(some one correct me if im wrong), but if it works it would be a good idea

I've thought about modeling myself for my game. I'd be sitting on a bench with my laptop working on the game and mumbling something like "ahh... now where's that Photoshop.... blah the UV's are all messed up... OK, now we're done. Just add this to the level and..." and a gun would appear on the bench next to me.

I actually have had similar thoughts. I'm not yet sure if it can be done but my idea is to make enemies dodge when you point the gun at them. Like they see you aiming at them and try to dodge by rolling or something.
That will be definetely cool!
Matte's idea will be cool too! In my game I got funny moments (it's not that the game is funny all the time)It's something like Serious Sam,where there are a lots of battles, and sometimes something really stupid happens.

Man,I'm sorry for posting video of my game in your game post, and if you want I will removit and put it in my game's post, but it's about the level, with the train (I didn't get the idea from you,I was thinking about making it a long time ago and I also have a simmilar level, but with a spaceship).
Now,the tunnel, the train is moving through (or only looks like it's moving
) is 2 Static Meshes, attatched to an animated model (which is otside the tunnel so it can't be seen or touched). And the train is a Static Mesh too.I haven't been working on this a lot,so It's nothing yet,but see it and tell me if you like it and if you see something that's not ok(but, let me remind you again, that the level is made for an hour or something)
Here's the vid.:

Nice video. So far so good.
Oh, and btw, the tunnel thingy is much better than my train which is outdoors. In the tunnel you get the feeling that you're moving really fast much easier. In my train you don't necessarily even see the ground. Maybe I should add some trees and stuff.

maybe some hills or rocks,I'll suggest to make a small canyon.I used an animated model for the animation,so that way I can attatch other things and put them in the tunnel and they'll move along with the tunnel, also on the video can be seen a train station,I'm thinking of attatching some pawns to the models and put them standing on the train station,so when the train moves by,the pawns will shoot at the player.
.I'm thinking of adding some floating particles in the tunnel something like snowflakes flying upwards (I want to make it so it will look like dust or something, also I want to make something, but i don't know how I will be able to do it.In this level except you can walk on the roof of the train you will also be able to get inside the train I want to make something like wind, which will be pulling the player backwards to create a better illusion that the train is moving fast, the problem is,I don't know how to make, when the player get's inside the train, the wind to stop and when he gets out again the wind to start, otherwise the wind will be pushing the player even when he's inside the train.
EDIT: oh,yeah! Also a little screen shake will be reallistic I think!

Thanks,I want to show you now what the menu will look like (my graphic designer helped a lot here!).
Tell me what you think! It's a little bit strange for a menu, but my game is a crazy one,so I think it can be accepted

Nice menu! Definitely not a traditional menu layout. And that's
good. Tell your graphics designer he can be proud of himself. And so can you.

Thanks,I'm really glad you like it...the only problem is that only the demo version of the game will be in english
because all the people in the cast team are from bulgaria and we wanted to make a bulgarian game (don't worry I'll translate the menu in english, but the speech will be in bulgarian)I saw that language option in the menu. There's only one checkbox saying English. What is that? And what does in change if for example I make another one saying Bulgarian?
Tell your graphics designer he can be proud of himself. And so can you.
Thanks Juutis, you can be proud of yourself as well, btw I'll give you credit as a programmer in the game.

Allright... uhh, thanks, I guess.
I'm really not a programmer though. I'd appreciate more if you put me as 'scripter'. There's a difference.
And about the language issue. There's only one solution: Gotta start taking Bulgarian lessons!
